Samantha Aburime

Samantha Aburime is a local Character Artist who specializes in Illustration, Animation, Comics and Writing. Her work brings lesser heard voices to the literary forefront with a focus on BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent characters. Healthy portrayals of masculinity and blurring gender expectations are also central to her focus. When not drawing she focuses on publishing academic research on media and fan studies.
Samantha has a preference for working on covers and/or projects with fewer illustrations.
