LaToya Taris-James (She/Her)

An active resident of north Minneapolis, LaToya is passionate about shifting the power of narrative in under-represented communities, structural change centering equity and inclusion, and developing young leaders. LaToya is the head of Story Development and Content, and a founding partner of RFTP, a company that uses storytelling as a way to work toward inclusion. When she is not curating content and facilitating RFTP events, LaToya is working with students at Augsburg University, developing leadership skills with a culturally competent lens and learning how to engage in, and change everyday democracy.
