Kevin L. A. Jenkins was diagnosed with kidney failure in the spring of 1997. Leading up to a kidney transplant operation, doctors referred to Kevin as a miracle patient. It has now been twenty years since Kevin underwent kidney transplant surgery and he is still going strong and doctors see him as a model patient. Kevin is on a mission to inspire and encourage others who are living with kidney failure.
Kevin considers himself to be a godly man and a freedom fighter for health and wellness in the community. His experience, education, and networking are the tools he uses to help people who are living with kidney disease.
Knowing the facts, staying focused, asking questions, and understanding the answers from his health providers have been key in Kevin’s journey. His book will take you through his journey of learning to live with kidney disease - good days and some bad days.
