Description: Tire Machèt training intensive by the Haitian Machete Fencing Project - March 8th and 9th, 2025

Come and learn the basics of Haitian Machete Fencing, an art of defense, resistance, and spirituality dating back to the Haitian Revolution! No martial experience is necessary but we encourage those who practice other styles to come and ad some of our techniques to you toolbox!

We also encourage a $60 donation to the Project, so we can keep this work going, and continue to support the Avril family in Haiti, who have stewarded and shared this art. However, we understand the times, and want to share the art with you regardles of your financial situation, so we offer a sliding scale as well! If you cannot pay, we will still train with you, but please still fill sign-up so we know how many people will be at the event.
